First Mission Statement, Rome 1998
Through 2030 Agenda United Nations recognize that the current development model is no longer sustainable for the Planet and for humanity. Humankind is committed to building a new worldwide sustainable system. The Planet needs a model that is capable of putting an end to poverty and hunger, ensuring dignity and equality, protecting our Planet’s natural resources and fighting the climate change, providing prosperous and fulfilling lives in harmony with nature and foster peaceful, just and inclusive societies for the good of present and future generations.
In order to achieve these 2030 Agenda goals, a solid global partnership that should include all levels of society is required (goal #17). Engaging people and communities, however, is not an easy process.
Innovative approaches are required to ensure that messages be delivered in an effective way.
Arts and Creativity, with their informal and engaging languages, can encourage motivation and a real commitment in local communities, civil societies, government agencies and individuals alike.
Gruppo Jobel supports the global changes promoted by UN through artistic programs realized around the world, in collaboration with institutions, both political and educational, local communities, companies and multi-stakeholders partnerships.
OUR COMMITMENT FOR 2030 AGENDA
ARTISTIC PROGRAMS FOR GLOBAL CHANGES
In order to realize the 2030 Agenda and achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), a solid global partnership including all levels of society is required. Broad engagement of communities requires innovative approaches to raise awareness and to call for collective actions.
Art and creativity can play a critical role in addressing some of the existing gaps in raising awareness about sustainable development and the SDGs. Through innovative and engaging languages, art and creativity can encourage action, raise a sense of urgency and a real commitment among local communities, civil societies, government agencies and individuals alike.
GRUPPO JOBEL – ART FOR EARTH ® supports the global Agenda with specific artistic programs delivered through multi stakeholder partnerships with institutions, both political and educational, local communities and private companies.
In 2019 Gruppo Jobel artists were invited by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP) to perform at the opening of the Asia Pacific Forum on Sustainable Development (UN Conference Center in Bangkok) and by the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) to perform at the opening of the High Level Political Forum – Ministerial Meeting (UN Headquarter, New York).

CREATIVE ACTIVITIES FORMAT
SmarTalk Project is a branded event launched in 2018 by Gruppo Jobel.
It represents a format of creative activities aimed at raising awareness, engagement, and commitment among the civil society on the sustainable development program defined by UN in the Agenda 2030 with its 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
SmarTalk Project wants to merge high-quality experts’ knowledge with the communication skills of artists and performers to involve as many people as possible in the 2030 Agenda strategy.
The project aims to produce several independent events, in collaboration with local and international partners, tailor-made on different cities all around the word so to create in few years a sustainable cultural network to promote the SDGs’ knowledge.
On 2019 we are presenting the first three platforms:
SmarTalk Rome (Italy, Europe)
