JOBEL

JOBEL was the sound of an ancient horn.
According to tradition, playing this musical instrument meant the beginning of a graceful time of peace and justice for all.
An artistic language so meaningful, it brings people together for the good of humankind.

GRUPPO JOBEL – ART FOR EARTH ® is an international cultural organization that has committed to raising awareness and engagement about social and environmental issues through artistic and educational programs since 2000.
Working both globally and locally, it supports governments, institutions, UN Agencies, NGOs, the private sector, educational organizations, and local communities to deliver cultural messages related to sustainable visions, turning carelessness into responsibility.

First Mission Statement

“As Creatives and Artists we share a huge responsibility.
We have the power to awake emotional intelligences, making people aware, involved and engaged about the global challenges of our time.
We should represent an urgent call to action for the well-being of the Planet, promoting sustainable values such as peace, human rights, environmental commitment, equality and education.
This is our challenge, our duty for the change.”

OUR COMMITMENT FOR 2030 AGENDA

ARTISTIC PROGRAMS FOR GLOBAL CHANGES

In order to realize the 2030 Agenda and achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), a solid global partnership including all levels of society is required. Broad engagement of communities requires innovative approaches to raise awareness and to call for collective actions.

Art and creativity can play a critical role in addressing some of the existing gaps in raising awareness about sustainable development and the SDGs. Through innovative and engaging languages, art and creativity can encourage action, raise a sense of urgency and a real commitment among local communities, civil societies, government agencies and individuals alike.

GRUPPO JOBEL – ART FOR EARTH ® supports the global Agenda with specific artistic programs delivered through multi stakeholder partnerships with institutions, both political and educational, local communities and private companies.

In 2019 Gruppo Jobel artists were invited by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP) to perform at the opening of the Asia Pacific Forum on Sustainable Development (UN Conference Center in Bangkok) and by the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) to perform at the opening of the High Level Political Forum – Ministerial Meeting (UN Headquarter, New York).
